November 3rd 2003 was the 10th anniversary of the inaugural rehearsal of HECB. To celebrate the occasion the band recorded a CD and you can find out all about that here .

Major Ron also organised a birthday party and thus it was that the band plus many guests assembled at The Civil Service Club in Littleton, Winchester on the evening of 3/11/03 at 7:00pm to celebrate the 10th birthday.

The evening commenced with Alan Parsons (our oldest member) presenting Ron with his birthday present - a beautiful baton. Ron immediately put this to good use by conducting the band through a short concert.

This was followed by a wonderful buffet meal and then the traditional cutting of the cake.

Thanks to Major Ron for organising the party AND of course, for looking after the Band through 10 fantastic years.
